Notes: Our Guatemala Dark takes our single origin Guatemala to a more robust level by roasting it just to the edge of dark. This dark roast coffee still retains some of the original flavor of the bean bridging the gap for light and dark drinkers.
Strictly Hard Bean (SHB) is a classification for coffee sourced from farms located more than 4,500ft above sea level. Coffee at these altitudes is harder and denser giving it distinct consistency and rich taste attributes. Coffee grown in the department of Huehuetenango must overcome obstacles before it reaches your hands. This area is remote with rugged terrain and extreme weather conditions. Indigenous coffee producers have partnered with an export company called UNEX that helps them overcome these challenges to ensure you receive a delicious cup of Guatemala coffee.
